अजाकृपाणीयन्यायः

विकी-

            अजायाः कृपाणस्य च अचिन्तितः अपि संबन्धः जातः चेत् अजा मृता भवति एव । यदा काचिद् घटना अनपेक्षितरीत्या घटते तदा तस्याः निर्देशं कर्तुम् अयं न्यायः उपयुक्तः भवति । अकस्मात्, सहसा जायमानानां घटनानां कृते अस्य उपयोगः । अयम् एव अर्थः काकतालीयन्यायेन खल्वाटबिल्वीयन्यायेन च बोध्यते । अन्यस्मिन् न्याये इष्टलाभः अनिष्टलाभः वा सूच्यते परन्तु अनेन न्यायेन अनिष्टप्राप्तेः एव सूचना भवति। 

लौकिकन्यायाञ्जलिः-

            The maxim of the she-goat and the sword. It is founded on some story of a goat's being suddenly killed by accidental contact with a sword, and is used to illustrate any surprising event happening altogether by chance. It therefore belongs to the same class as काकतालीय, खल्वाटबिल्वीय and others of a similar kind.

अगतिकगतिन्यायः

विकी-

कस्मिंश्चिद् विषये उपाय एव न भवति चेत् अल्पस्य महतः वा मार्गस्य आधारेण तरणोपायः मार्गणीयः भवति । तदा आश्रयरूपेण स्वीकृतः कियानपि क्षुल्लकः (बह्वल्पः कालः) भवतु साधनस्य अपेक्षया समयस्य एव महत्त्वम् अधिकं भवति ।

English meaning-

The maxim of last trivial resort in absence of any substantial support. When there is no way out in case of problems, one approaches the resort where even the slightest chance is felt with a feeling of “Something is better than nothing.”

धूलेः कश्चन कणः अपि नेत्रे गतः चेत् नेत्रे पीडा उत्पद्यते । मृदुस्वभावस्य भावनाप्रधानस्य वा जनस्य कृते अल्पा अपि पीडा असहनीया भवति इत्यस्मिन् अर्थे अस्य न्यायस्य प्रयोगः भवति ।
